From Corporate Executive to Real Estate Visionary

My journey into real estate was anything but accidental. I began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Morgan State University, where I built a foundation in financial analysis, risk management, and strategic planning. For years, I thrived in corporate leadership roles, managing business strategy and financial portfolios for large organizations. But while corporate America sharpened my analytical skills, it also revealed something to me: true wealth and transformation happen through ownership, not employment.

That realization led me to pursue specialized education that would allow me to combine financial expertise with real-world real estate execution. I enrolled at Florida International University, where I earned my Master’s in International Real Estate. This program is considered one of the most prestigious real estate graduate degrees in the nation, and it gave me advanced insights into:

  • Global market dynamics and how international capital flows affect local markets
  • Complex deal structuring that goes far beyond simple transactions
  • Institutional investment strategies that most small and mid-sized investors never see

But I didn’t stop there. To bridge the critical gap between finance and construction, I went on to earn a Certificate in Construction Finance from Columbia University. This Ivy League credential gave me advanced training in construction project financing, capital deployment, and risk mitigation — a skill set that very few real estate professionals possess.

Through this journey, I saw the industry’s biggest weakness firsthand: fragmentation. Investors were forced to juggle multiple disconnected service providers — lenders who didn’t understand development, contractors who didn’t understand investment strategy, and consultants who vanished after submitting a report. The result? Projects that failed not because of bad ideas, but because of poor execution.

I knew there had to be a better way. My education and experience gave me the clarity to design it: a fully integrated real estate ecosystem that connects capital access, development strategy, construction execution, and brokerage services into one seamless system.

In 2018, I made a bold commitment: to build the most comprehensive, integrated real estate platform in the Baltimore–Washington region. My mission was to eliminate the silos that cause most projects to fail and replace them with accountability, alignment, and proven systems.

  • Monstar Revenue: Our financing arm that handles loan brokerage, credit optimization, and capital readiness
  • Xselleo: Our development consulting division, providing deal analysis, underwriting, and project management strategies
  • Renovation ROI: Our construction services company focused on investor-centered renovations and project execution
  • Samson Properties (Brokerage): Where I leverage my real estate license to help clients buy, sell, and maximize property opportunities
